  1. 🢂 2 cup of of water.
  2. 🢂 1 tbsp of ghee.
  3. 🢂 1 of chopped beans.
  4. 🢂 1 of chopped onion.
  5. 🢂 1 of chopped carrot.
  6. 🢂 1/2 cup of peas.
  7. 🢂 1 cup of rawa.
  8. 🢂 of Chutney.
  9. 🢂 2 of green chillies.
  10. 🢂 1/2 tsp of ginger.
  11. 🢂 1 cup of curd.
  12. 🢂 1/2 of grated coconut.
  13. 🢂 1 of salt and sugar to taste.

step by step Upama and chutney -Typically Indian

  1. in a frying pan add ghee and cumin seeds along with curry leaves, cashew nuts, onion ,carrot, beans ,peas -saute them.
  2. in another pan take a tablespoon ghee and add rawa for a min or two at medium flame.
  3. mix all the ingredients together.
  4. add 4 cups boiled water to the above mix and keep stirring so that no lumps are formed (till they get dry).
  5. For Chutney : in a mixer , mix the curd , ginger and green chillies and add them to the grated coconut and your chutney is ready.

Generally Arisi Upma is served with Coconut Chutney. But Personally I love serving with Vendhaya Kuzhambu or Vathakuzhambu or even with Milagu Kuzhambu.
