I made it a million times during the period of my wheat elimination a few years ago, and even though I now eat ancient varieties of wheat like einkorn and spelt, this cake still makes.
This is yet another of my favourite easy cakes because it is straightforward and an all-in-one recipe.

- 🢂 1 1/2 cup of sugar.
- 🢂 2 1/2 tbs of butter at room temperature.
- 🢂 26 tbs of almond milk.
- 🢂 1 cup of whole milk.
- 🢂 1 1/2 cup of flour.
- 🢂 1 tbs of baking powder.
- 🢂 1 3/4 of sweetened condensed milk.
- 🢂 3/4 cup of grated almonds.
The result is soft and moist and it is a good way to use up left over ground almonds You can make it in advance and freeze the cake until you need it. This is the best almond cake recipe! It has a moist, velvety crumb, and it's perfect to serve plain with powdered sugar and fresh fruit, with or without a creamy glaze on top. This cake is easily made gluten-free by substituting a gluten-free flour blend for the all purpose.

- Separate egg yolks from the egg whites and store egg whites in the refrigerator..
- In a bowl, add sugar, butte, egg yolks and beat until the mix is clear and fluff..
- Add 13 tbs of almond milk and mix..
- Add flour and mix. Then add the 1/2 cup of milk and continue beating..
- In another bowl, beat the egg whites to a stiff peak and transfer them to the previous bowl and mix them with care without beating..
- Lastly add the baking powder and mix well..
- Grease and flour pan and pour the mixture in. Preheat oven to 355° and bake for 30 min..
- While the cake is baking prepare the toppings. Mix the condensed milk with 1/2 cup of milk and the rest of the almond milk..
- When the cake is done, pierce it with a fork several times and pour the topping over the hot cake..
- Garnish with grated coconut and enjoy!.
Decorate the cake simply with sliced almonds. Topped with an almond pound cake glaze, it's the perfect dessert! So here, I've made a lovely moist pecan almond cake in a loaf pan. Of course you could use a round or sheet pan. Just be sure to keep an eye on the cook time as it will vary depending on what you bake the cake in.
