I love how simple this salsa is to make.
Simply throw tomatoes, onion, garlic, peppers, and cilantro into a blender or food processor.
You can cook Easy Salsa using 11 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you achieve it.
Ingredients of Easy Salsa
- π’ 10 of tomatoes.
- π’ 1 large of bell pepper.
- π’ 1 large of yellow onion.
- π’ 2 of anaheim peppers.
- π’ 3 of jalapeno peppers.
- π’ 1 bunch of cilantro.
- π’ 1 of garlic clove.
- π’ 1 1/4 tbsp of salt.
- π’ 1 tbsp of seasoned salt.
- π’ 1 tsp of black pepper.
- π’ 1 1/4 tbsp of lemon juice.
Pulse everything until chopped, and then season with salt, pepper and lime. The ingredient list to make this blended salsa is very similar to what's needed to make pico de gallo. There are tons of salsas out there, but I haven't found one exactly like mine. (I don't like the taste of lime or lemon juice. It's similar to pico de gallo I guess.) Do yourself a favor and find authentic Mexican chips from a local restaurant to go with this!
step by step Easy Salsa

- Add to food processer.
- Process into desired chunky or fine mix..
- Serve with chip's or use on tacos etc..
Fast and simple is an under statement here. It is the wrong time of the year in St. Louis for home grown tomatoes so I used a can of no salt diced tomatoes and a can of RoTel tomatoes with green chile peppers. This easy homemade restaurant-style salsa is my favorite right now! Once you try it, you will never buy store-bought salsa again.
